Graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics at National Taiwan University. Previously served as Director of the Business Desk at China Times and later as Deputy Editor-in-Chief. I live with a mild form of “split personality”: half of my university years were spent studying economics, the other half chasing mountains. Now, one eye tracks the economy and the numbers; the other watches birds and photographs them.
Authored several books, including The Lesson of NT$444.44 Billion: Taipei Metro Construction (co-authored with Liu Baojie), Spring on the Snowfields (on climbing Jade Mountain in winter), and Taiwan High Mountain Almanac.
