Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported consolidated revenue of approximately NT$401.26 billion for January 2026, an increase of 19.8% from December 2025 and 36.8% from January 2025.

The figure marks the first time the company’s monthly revenue has exceeded NT$400 billion.

In a separate announcement, TSMC said its Board of Directors — which convened in Kumamoto, Japan — approved multiple resolutions, including the company’s 2025 financial statements and a capital budget of approximately US$44.962 billion to support long-term capacity expansion aligned with market demand and its technology development roadmap.

2025 Financial Results and Dividend

For the full year 2025, consolidated revenue totaled NT$3,809.05 billion, while net income reached NT$1,717.88 billion. Diluted earnings per share were NT$66.25.

The board approved a NT$6.0 per share cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2025. The ex-dividend date is set for June 11, 2026, with a record date of June 17, 2026. The dividend will be paid on July 9, 2026. The ex-dividend and record dates for TSMC American Depositary Shares (ADSs) will both be June 11, 2026.

Capital Expansion and Financing Measures

The approved capital appropriations of approximately US$44.962 billion will fund:

* Installation and upgrading of advanced technology capacity
* Expansion of advanced packaging, mature and specialty technology capacity
* Fab construction and installation of facility systems

To manage financial exposure and funding needs, the board also authorized:

* A capital injection of up to US$30 billion into wholly owned subsidiary TSMC Global Ltd. to reduce foreign exchange hedging costs
* Issuance of unsecured corporate bonds in the domestic market in an amount not exceeding NT$60 billion to finance capacity expansion and green initiatives

Employee Bonuses and AGM

TSMC approved the distribution of employees’ business performance and profit-sharing bonuses totaling approximately NT$206,145.92 million for 2025. This includes NT$103,072.96 million in quarterly performance bonuses already distributed and an equal amount scheduled for distribution in July 2026.

The company will hold its 2026 Annual General Meeting at 9:00 a.m. on June 4, 2026, at the Sheraton Hsinchu Hotel in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County.
