The Tang Prize Foundation on Jan. 24 premiered "From Gombe to Global: The Life's Calling of Jane Goodall",  a documentary honoring the enduring influence of renowned primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall, at the National Taiwan Museum's Nanmen Branch in Taipei. The film is now available on the Tang Prize's official YouTube channel.

Produced over two years, the documentary is the first comprehensive visual record of Goodall's lifelong commitment to environmental protection and education following her passing in October 2025. The premiere was co-hosted by the Tang Prize Foundation, the Jane Goodall Institute Taiwan, Chang Jung Christian University, and the National Taiwan Museum, drawing nearly 100 attendees.

Jenn-Chuan Chern, CEO of the Tang Prize Foundation, said the project was conceived not only as a tribute but as a way to preserve Goodall’s vision of sustainability and her belief in perseverance through action. The production team conducted in-depth interviews with Goodall during her global speaking tours and incorporated archival footage provided by partner institutions, resulting in both Chinese and English versions of the film.
